To cook a brown and crispy turkey: 1. Prepare the turkey by removing the giblets, seasoning the outside, and brining if desired. 2. Tie (or truss) the turkey with kitchen string to ensure the wings/legs don't burn and the bird cooks evenly. 3. Place the turkey in the roaster oven and simply bake until it's golden and cooked through.
During the first few uses, you may notice some smoke and a slight odor, which is normal and will quickly disappear. After a few more uses, this will not recur.
Easily adjust the temperature from 150 to 450°F to perfectly cook a variety of foods. You can remove large meats like baked ham and roasted turkey with the included lift-out rack. The oven pan, lift-out rack, and lid are all removable and dishwasher safe, making cleanup a breeze.
